Cognologix Technologies in Pune is seeking a Sr. AI Product Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions, including cloud-native approaches.

You will work in Cognologix's Data & AI Practice, building cutting-edge AI applications across CV, NLP, Gen AI and automation, collaborating with product management and mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of end-to-end project lifecycle experience in building enterprise-grade AI applications.
• Strong foundation in Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Probability.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects as a team member or leader with independently.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. AI Product Engineer with 4‑6 years of experience to design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions. The role focuses on developing AI applications and developing cloud‑native solutions.

You Will Work On

We are looking for a self‑driven AI Professional to be a key member of our Data & AI Practice. We help many of our clients in building advanced analytics solutions (from traditional ML to deep learning, Computer Vision, Gen AI & Automation). You will work on some of the cutting‑edge AI technologies to build meaningful products & solutions.

Requirements

What you will do (Responsibilities)

• Perform high‑level work both independently and collaboratively as a project member or leader on multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management team, elicit AI/ML use case specific requirements, explore and evaluate approaches.
• Own the end‑end process, from recognizing the problem to implementing the solution.
• Develop Computer Vision, NLP, Deep Learning, multi‑modal Gen AI based applications & demos according to the requirements and needs.
• Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
• Explore new tools, technologies, frameworks in ML, DL, CV, Gen AI technologies and experiments.
• Keep abreast of developments in the field.
• Mentor, guide junior team members.

What You Bring (Skills)

• 4‑6 years of end‑to‑end project lifecycle experience (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment & Monitoring) in building enterprise‑grade AI applications.
• Sound knowledge in Linear Algebra, Statistics, Probability.
• Strong knowledge & experience in Python and the Python data science ecosystem: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit‑learn, NLTK, etc.
• Experience with deep learning, machine learning and NLP/NLG frameworks (Keras, TensorFlow or PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, ...).
• Proficiency in designing, training, and deploying deep learning models for computer vision tasks.
• Experience with image processing, filtering, object detection frameworks (YOLO, Faster R‑CNN, Mask R‑CNN), image segmentation techniques (semantic, instance, panoptic), and image classification.
• Experience or strong understanding of vision transformer models & architecture, application in Computer Vision problems.
• Sound knowledge of Generative AI /LLM models, frameworks, tools & technologies.
• Experience in Prompt Engineering & Langchain / LlamaIndex, vector search, RAG frameworks, function calling, agentic frameworks, document processing.
• Experience with cloud‑based services such as AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP.
• Strong experience in productionizing / operationalizing AI models to run in an automated context.
• Strong development experience using Python and SQL (including DB design & complex query optimizations).
• Experience with async programming and RESTful APIs (FastAPI).
• Sound understanding of CI‑CD, containerization & orchestration.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Great If You Know (Skills)

• Experience with Scrum and/or other Agile development processes.
• Exposure to MLOps, LLMOps – model and experiment versioning, hyper‑parameter tuning, model deployment and monitoring aspects.
• Sound understanding of data visualization aspects.
• Ability to lead R&D and POC efforts. Experience in pre‑sales is desirable.
• A track record of delivery within a number of large‑scale projects, demonstrating ownership of architecture solutions and managing change.
• Experience in manipulating and analyzing complex, high‑volume, high‑dimensionality data from varying sources.
