Roles and Responsibilities

Position: Solution Architect

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 12 to 17 Yrs

Budget: 80 Lacks to 1.20 Cr

This Solution Architect- Java position is a senior role with accountability for solution architecture scoped to business-transformative projects and is involved with projects from inception through implementation.

Job Requirements

1. Responsible for project-level solution design ensuring the solution design optimally satisfies needs and expectations of the project stakeholders.
2. Advocates and champions Enterprise Architecture and Domain Architecture recommendations to the project team.
3. Responsible for overall solution quality; security, performance, flexibility, availability, etc.
4. Responsible for deciding technologies to use in the solution not already defined by the Domain Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams.
5. Responsible for architecture deliverables such as non-functional requirements, system diagrams, data models, and traceability matrix to track and monitor the solution from requirements to design to implementation to test cases.

Qualifications

1. At least 12+ yrs of experience in building products using Java and related JEE/J2EE technology stack.
2. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Architecture experience is required.
3. Experience must include programming APIs; Java/JEE; Hibernate; Spring Framework; JSP; AJAX; JavaScript; XML and XML parsers; SOAP/REST web services; service oriented architectures (SOA); data modeling skills; and writing stored procedures.
4. Experience must include working knowledge of Kafka or any of the event streaming technology.
5. Experience with integration of third party tools and cloud middleware platforms.
6. Able to design SaaS solutions that scale and perform with rock solid reliability, ability to identify and build-in key application monitoring hooks to allow for optimal management of the solution.
7. Experience & working knowledge in AWS Services (AWS Docker ECS, AWS Application load balancer, S3).
8. Capable of working with Operations to plan major infrastructure upgrades, to troubleshoot issues and to tune the environment for optimal performance and uptime.
9. Ability to manage solution architecture design to align to business value.
10. Ability to build solution architecture models using UML.
11. Ability to strongly justify the proposed architecture and design in a comparative mode.
12. Ability to develop and manage architecture models such as activity models, class models and data models.
