Job summary

IQVIA in Bengaluru seeks a SQL/.NET Server Support professional to work under supervision on customer-centric solutions and routine problems. You will collaborate with customers and project teams to define milestones, develop and train on solutions, and support production environments.

Responsibilities include building and validating solutions, QA/UAT participation, and contributing to best practices, with exposure to clinical/pharma domains. Strong SQL/DB skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience gathering technical requirements from external customers
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of clinical trial/pharmaceutical domain preferred
• Strong work ethic focused on customer satisfaction
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Dot Net and SQL Server with SSIS exposure
• Expertise in writing stored procedures, cursors, triggers and indexes
• Ability to understand and develop complex SQLs
• Experience in data processing and flowcharting techniques
• In-depth knowledge of SQL reporting, analytics and BI

Essential Functions

• Works with customers and project management teams to identify key project milestones and implementation timelines.
• Builds, documents and maintains new and existing customer-centric business critical solutions.
• Develops and implements solution validation plans.
• Ensures quality control during implementation and execution of the validation plans.
• Builds training materials for the implemented solutions.
• Trains customers on the implemented solutions.
• Participates in QA, UAT & production launch support related to various customer engagements.
• Contributes towards building implementation and integrations best practices and the knowledge base.
• Collaborates with the DrugDev product development team to help improve and expand core platform functionality.
