Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong Spring Boot and microservices experience to join our Bengaluru/Chennai teams. You will design, develop and deploy scalable Java applications and RESTful services.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of hands-on Java experience, knowledge of Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, cloud platforms, and modern CI/CD tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Experience in developing and deploying microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Good understanding of design patterns and best practices.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience in developing and deploying microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of OAuth2 / JWT based authentication.
