Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong observational, documentation, and case management skills, with attention to detail and outcome tracking.
• Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with children, families, and colleagues, and to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Role Description

The Speech Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication disorders at Ignitio's on-site centre in Hyderabad. This full-time role involves conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one and small group therapy sessions. The Speech Therapist will collaborate closely with caregivers and a multidisciplinary team, including behavior and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include documenting progress, adjusting goals based on outcomes, educating families on home-based activities, and participating in case discussions and review meetings. The role also involves maintaining ethical and professional standards of practice and contributing to the continuous improvement of therapy programs.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention.
• Candidates should possess expertise in managing Speech and Language Disorders, with the ability to address articulation, fluency, and expressive/receptive language challenges.
• Candidates should possess skills in identifying and treating Communication Disorders, including social communication and pragmatic language difficulties.
• Candidates should possess knowledge and clinical skills in evaluating and treating Dysphagia, with an understanding of safe feeding and swallowing practices.
