Sprouts Child Development Centre in Gurgaon is seeking a Speech Language Specialist to provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children with speech, language and communication difficulties in a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one and small group sessions, monitoring progress, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with families and other professionals

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Speech Therapy and Rehabilitation and ability to design individualized intervention plans.
• Expertise in Speech and Communication disorders, including assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment.
• Knowledge of Dysphagia management and coordination with medical professionals when needed.
• Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology with valid registration.
• Experience with children in clinical, school or community settings, preferably pediatric.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed clinical records and use digital tools for documentation.
• Commitment to ethical, inclusive, child-centered practice and ongoing learning.

Role Description The Speech Language Specialist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties in a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering one-on-one and small group therapy sessions. The specialist will monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support across settings. The role also involves educating families about home-based strategies, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives at the centre.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Speech Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Expertise in Speech and Communication disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Knowledge of Dysphagia management, including safe swallowing practices and coordination with medical professionals when needed.
• Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology (Bachelor’s or Master’s), with valid professional registration or licensure as applicable.
• Experience working with children in clinical, school, or community settings, preferably in pediatric or developmental contexts.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
