Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Theatre) / BFA in Theatre / Diploma in Speech and Drama is mandatory.
• Additional certifications in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, or Drama Education will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience teaching Theatre/Drama to Primary students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging Theatre and Drama sessions for Primary students.
• Introduce students to acting techniques, voice modulation, expressions, movement, storytelling, and stagecraft.
• Organize classroom performances, assemblies, annual events, and theatre showcases.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, teamwork, and confidence-building through performing arts.
• Design age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with school objectives and learning outcomes.
• Integrate theatre with interdisciplinary learning wherever applicable.
• Prepare students for competitions, performances, and cultural events.
• Maintain student portfolios, assessments, and performance records.
• Collaborate with teachers and coordinators for school events and productions.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
