Job summary

Vivantify Bengaluru-based role seeks a PostgreSQL Database Administrator with 5–7 years’ experience to support production environments. Focus areas include PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup, replication, and incident management.

You will provide L1/L2 production support, monitor health with Grafana/Prometheus, optimize queries and indexes, and collaborate with development and on‑call teams for high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills, including query review and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for PostgreSQL databases, including monitoring and incident resolution.

• Troubleshoot slow queries, locking, deadlocks, indexing issues, and other performance bottlenecks.
