Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is hiring a Data Analytics Specialist/Sr. Specialist for Supply Chain Analytics in Mumbai. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, transforming large datasets for actionable insights and reporting.

You will collaborate with supply chain, IT, and business teams to define requirements and implement data integration solutions that support advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Strong data governance and security experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven 4 to 5 years of experience in data engineering / analytics.
• Proficiency in medallion and Lakehouse architectures, data modeling, database design (relational and non-relational), and ETL processes with Apache Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for supply chain analytics and reporting.
• Collect, clean, and transform large and complex supply chain datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for high data quality and reliability.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

• Document data flows, pipelines, and processes for consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and supply chain analytics.

• Collaborate with business teams to develop detailed build plans and estimates for testing and implementation.

Role Summary/Purpose:

• The Data Analytics Specialist/Sr. Specialist for Supply Chain Analytics at Colgate-Palmolive is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical model solutions tailored to supply chain operations. This role ensures the efficient collection, integration, and transformation of large datasets to enable actionable insights and decision support. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver high-quality, reliable, and well-structured data for advanced analytics and reporting. The Data Analytics Specialist/Sr. Specialist collaborates closely with supply chain and other functions, IT, and business teams to understand business requirements and implement data solutions that enhance supply chain performance, drive process improvements, and contribute to overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for supply chain analytics and reporting.

• Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project

Required Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven 4 to 5 years of experience working in following:

• Proficiency in medallion and Lakehouse architectures, data modeling, database design (relational and non-relational), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes along with Data orchestration tool - Apache Airflow..

• Experience with modern data warehousing solutions e.g., Snowflake and Data Transformation platform - DBT.

• Proficiency in data quality & metadata tools (catalogs), data integration tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python and Version Management tools - Github.

Preferred Qualifications and skills:

• Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of data governance, data security & PI data management, and data quality best practices.

• Familiarity with supply chain processes, analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) is highly desirable.

• Experience working with SAP business intelligence and Visualisation tools (e.g., Sigma, DOMO).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
