Charles Schwab India is seeking a cybersecurity professional to monitor database activity, investigate high-risk alerts, and deploy user activity monitoring tools across secure servers. You will work within a diverse, global team to protect client data and support security operations inIndia.

The role emphasizes precise documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to standard operating procedures in a Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Two or more years of cybersecurity, operations center, or technology operations experience in case- or ticket-based workflows.
• Ability to write and run SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and reconcile data.
• Experience using code or scripts to automate repeatable tasks such as data cleanup, evidence collection, or reporting.
• Experience supporting security controls in production environments and following defined operating procedures.
• Working knowledge of monitoring, alert triage, and investigation fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail with disciplined documentation and evidence handling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

This role will provide opportunity to have a direct impact on the security of Schwab client data – this makes a difference to everyone at Schwab. It also provides ability to work with a diverse team in multiple areas of Data Protection – Database Security. The candidate will face a variety of challenges to keep the work interesting – new database security scenarios emerge regularly and require problem solving and communication skills which will help you grow.

What you have
