Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to join our newest Technology Center in Hyderabad, where you will play a pivotal role in enabling the company’s digital transformation journey and driving measurable business outcomes. This role is focused on supporting our Animal Health business, which operates across both B2B and B2C channels, delivering innovative biopharma and technology products to healthcare professionals, distributors, and end customers.

As a senior developer, you will lead the technical design and implementation of SAP Commerce Cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build digital commerce capabilities that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What will you do in this role

• Lead the development and customization of SAP Commerce Cloud modules, including product catalog, search and discovery, checkout, guided selling, customization, and customer account features for both B2C and B2B journeys.
• Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with bio-pharma compliance standards.
• Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, and third-party systems to support real-time and asynchronous interfaces for order processing, inventory visibility, master data synchronization, etc.
• Ensure platform compliance with bio-pharma regulations (e.g., GxP, data privacy, controlled access).
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of the e-commerce platform.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, staging, and production environments.
• Stay current with SAP Commerce Cloud updates and bio-pharma digital trends to recommend platform improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience delivering B2B or B2C e-commerce solutions in regulated industries, preferably biopharma or healthcare.
• Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture, including extensions, impex, cronjobs, workflows, and OCC APIs.
• Experience integrating SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP S/4HANA and middleware platforms like SAP CPI.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GxP, HIPAA, or GDPR.
