Job description

The Risk Data Analytics & Reporting serves as the enterprise-wide subject matter expert for the Risk Analytics Data and Reporting (RADaR) team to develop high-quality, scalable, and well-governed reporting and visualization solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise in data visualization and analytics, combined with business analysis and project management capabilities to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent initiatives. Knowledge of the Operational Risks and/Legal and Compliance Risk domains is an added advantage and preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards and management information for Risk and Compliance. Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud administration and publishing workflows or similar BI visualization toolset. Prepare detailed data analytics routines, scripts, queries, and procedures. Dashboard performance tuning (extract optimization, query reduction, context filters). Applies industry-specific data analytics, business intelligence and quantitative analysis techniques. Analyze and transform data from Snowflake and upstream systems to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable risk insights.
  • Understanding of visualization best practices (color theory, chart selection, storytelling with data, UX for dashboards). Ability to translate raw business requirements into intuitive, self-service dashboards. Experience connecting Tableau to multiple source types (relational databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage). Develop reporting based on data sourced from Archer (or equivalent GRC platforms), including incidents, issues, business continuity, supplier risk management, etc. Ensure consistency of data taxonomies and reporting standards across dashboards. Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document reporting requirements using structured business analysis techniques. Manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Data functions. Provide clear communication, status updates, and issue management across reporting initiatives. Support end-to-end delivery of reporting initiatives, including planning, development, testing, UAT, and production release.
  • Apply project management discipline to manage timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies across concurrent workstreams. Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and enhance reporting and visualization. Participate in discussions with senior management when communicating data analytic results and solutions.

  • Experience in data acquisition (ETL, ELT), management (cataloging, indexing, profiling), and administration (security, operations, optimization).
  • Proficiency/Working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical thinking & problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Requirements And Qualifications
  • Required Education: Technical B.E / B.Tech Computer Science; Information Technology; Data Science
  • Preferred Education: Technical Advanced certification in Tableau, Snowflake (added advantage)
  • Required Experience: 5-10 years Non-Financial Risk Reporting & Analytics
  • Preferred Experience: 10+ years
  • Typical working hours: (12PM IST to 9PM IST) (2:30 AM EST to 11:30 AM EST)
