Qualifications

The Specialist in Master Data & Working Capital will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency by integrating supply chain master data governance with financial performance insights. This role demands strong analytical expertise across procurement, sourcing, and supplier data management, coupled with an understanding of operational finance metrics such as working capital, payment terms, cost productivity, and spend optimization. The Specialist will collaborate cross-functionally with global supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to drive data accuracy, process improvements, reporting standardization, and digital transformation initiatives that strengthen financial transparency and data governance across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• 1. Master Data Management & Process Governance
  • Own and manage supplier master data processes end to end, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing across regions.
  • Develop and standardize master data definitions covering supplier, payment terms, and contract attributes, ensuring alignment between supply chain and finance systems.
  • Identify process gaps across master data workflows and reporting; recommend scalable process improvements and controls.
  • Partner with supply chain and finance leadership to strengthen data governance, policy compliance, and data quality standards.
• 2. Working Capital, Reporting & Financial Insight
  • Drive working capital improvement initiatives, linking operational metrics to financial outcomes such as cash flow, savings realization, and cost avoidance.
  • Manage governance and reporting for supply chain financial KPIs including working capital, payment terms, cost productivity, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Finance teams to track performance against plan and validate improvement pipelines.
• 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with global sourcing, category management, and supply chain finance teams to align reporting processes, data definitions, and performance objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to Supply Chain and Finance leadership on data quality, working capital, and transformation progress.
  • Partner with Carrier’s finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of supply chain driven savings in alignment with business financial goals.
  • Provide consistent updates to leadership and stakeholders on process improvements and reporting outcomes.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across teams and global regions
  • Engage directly with sourcing, category managers, and procurement teams to gather requirements and drive adoption of standard processes.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives for supplier qualification, compliance documentation, and contract management
• 4. Technical Competencies & Analytical Excellence
  • Leverage Excel, Power BI, and other relevant tools to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to break down complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Focus on the automation and centralization of reports to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Drive analytical projects targeting working capital improvement, procurement savings, and process optimization.
  • Utilize ERP and workflow tools to support master data governance and supply chain analytics.

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain/manufacturing with exposure to master data management, procurement, sourcing, and process transformation.
• Strong understanding of SCM, operational & financial metrices (working capital, payment terms, cost productivity) and master data governance processes
• Proven experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams
• Power BI and ERP (SAP/MDG/Oracle) advanced working skills preferred
• Excellent business communication (verbal & written), interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management
• High learning agility, accountability, and effective collaboration skills
• Interpersonal skills - demonstrated ability to work in a global environment and engage stakeholders across regions
• Track record of supporting transformation initiatives, managing complex data sets, and driving improvements in supply chain operations
• Hands-on experience with procurement analytics, master data quality initiatives, and working capital
