Job summary

Genpact is hiring for an MDM Specialist focused on data entry, maintenance, and quality assurance across ERP/CRM systems. You will monitor data quality, remove duplicates, and support audits while collaborating with Finance, Sales, Procurement and IT on data needs.

The role involves learning MDM tools, contributing to process improvements, and supporting governance and security initiatives within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Experience in master data management and financial data domains preferred.
• Proficiency with data governance and data quality concepts.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and maintenance across ERP/CRM systems with accuracy.
• Quality assurance: cleanse duplicates and ensure data consistency.
• Assist in master data audits and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, procurement and IT teams on data needs.
• Create reports for management review and document SOPs.
• Support training and continuous improvement of MDM processes.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data. Validate and verify data before it is entered into the system. 2. Data Quality Assurance Monitor data quality and perform regular data cleansing activities. Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors, and take corrective action or escalate as needed. Support audits of master data for compliance with organizational standards. 3. Process Improvement Learn and understand existing master data management processes and workflows. Assist in identifying inefficiencies or gaps and propose improvements to enhance data management processes. Participate in the implementation of process automation tools where applicable. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with various departments (finance, sales, procurement, IT) to gather data requirements and ensure data alignment. Support communication between data owners and data users to facilitate smooth data governance. 5. Reporting and Documentation Generate and analyze reports related to master data for management review. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines related to master data handling. Assist in preparing training materials for end-users on data management best practices. 6. Compliance and Governance Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards. Support initiatives related to data security and confidentiality. Help enforce regulatory compliance related to master data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if applicable). 7. Learning and Development Undergo training sessions on master data management tools and methodologies. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management.
