Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to manage invoicing, posting transactions, vendor data, and the payments lifecycle. You will ensure accuracy, control, and timely processing of supplier invoices in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

The ideal candidate is a Commerce graduate with meaningful AP experience and excellent English skills (verbal and written). This role offers growth opportunities within a global enterprise and exposure to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
• Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
