Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to handle invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and payments, on-site only.

You will index invoices, maintain exception logs, verify invoices against POs, contracts, and approvals, and support month-end close and audits. Commerce graduates are eligible and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manual indexing and invoice processing as per supplier input or requester
• Maintain exception logs for process-related exceptions
• Independently perform transactional tasks supporting compliance, planning and execution
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts and approvals
• Prepare and process payments (bank transfers, cheques, online)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Handle vendor queries and maintain effective communication
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and statutory requirements

Genpact Hiring for Accounts Payable role

Work location: Hyderabad (Only work from office)

Responsibilities:

• Manual Indexing, Invoice processing, basis the input received from suppliers or requestors
• Maintain exception logs for process related exception as and when they occur for knowledge retention
• Independently perform transactional tasks which support the compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes.
• Ensure all Invoices handled as per the guidelines
• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and approvals
• Ensure proper accounting and posting of expenses in the ERP/accounting system
• Prepare and process payments (bank transfer, cheques, online payments, etc.)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Handle vendor queries and maintain effective communication
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
• Support internal and external audits as required
