What will you do in this role

• Collaborates on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipeline architectures to ingest, process, and deliver high-quality data to business stakeholders.
• Develops and optimizes batch-processing pipelines, ensuring collected data is structured and formatted for immediate, analytical consumption.
• Adheres to and promotes data engineering standards and best practices within the immediate team and across collaborating squads.
• Contributes actively to the execution and technical delivery of data analytics initiatives.
• Acquiring strong technical knowledge of our supported technologies, understanding basic upstream/downstream platform dependencies and cross-functional team workflows.
• Engages with peer platforms and technical communities to stay informed about emerging trends and modern methodologies being adopted within our ecosystem.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks, building data-driven solutions that directly support stakeholder priorities and business objectives.
• Maintains constructive, collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and product owners to ensure aligned delivery.
• Monitors industry advancements in data engineering to suggest innovative ways of improving pipeline efficiency and value.

What Should you have:

• BS Computer Science or related field with 3 - 5 years of working experience with Data Engineering.
• Core Languages: Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation, ETL pipeline building, and debugging.
• ETL with IDMC: Practical experience building and monitoring mapping tasks, taskflows, and data integration pipelines within the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform.
• Databricks Developer: Hands-on experience developing within Databricks workspaces using notebooks and Delta Lake tables.
• AWS Cloud Basics: Practical familiarity with core AWS services, specifically S3 data storage, IAM access, and basic service integrations.
• Salesforce Data Awareness: Experience extracting, querying, and staging data from Salesforce/Veeva CRM objects using standard APIs.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of relational database structures and dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
• CI/CD & Git: Experience with version control (Git) workflow processes, including branching, merging, and Pull Requests.
• Agile Execution: Proven ability to work within sprint cycles, estimate tasks, and deliver tested code on time.
