Job summary

KBR is seeking a Specialist - Cost Control OCST20 in Chennai to lead budgeting, forecasting and cost engineering for complex projects. You will own ETC/EAC, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with schedule and IFRS/GAAP guidelines.

The role requires 6 to 8 years of cost control and project controls experience, with strong Excel, SAP and MS Dynamics 360 skills; prior EPC experience is a plus. Applicants should thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of cost control / project controls experience.
• Engineering background preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and SAP/MS Dynamics 360.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain control budgets and forecast phasing.
• Manage ETC/EAC and project cost reporting.
• Monitor engineering hours, progress and productivity.
• Perform variance analysis and explain causes and actions.
• Align cost forecasts with project schedule.
• Handle month-end accruals and close.
