ZF Group in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced Automated Driving Algorithm Developer to design, implement, and optimize C-based algorithms for hands-free driving features in autonomous vehicles. You will work with a dynamic engineering team to deliver reliable software across validation, simulation, and deployment stages.

Required: 5+ years in ADAS/Autonomous driving algorithm development; strong C programming; familiarity with automotive sensors; MATLAB/Python scripting; knowledge of ASPICE

About the team:

We are seeking an experienced Automated Driving Algorithm Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of Hands-free Driving features for autonomous vehicle . As part of our dynamic engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms in the C programming language.

What you can look forward as Specialist:

• Analyze technical requirements and prepare detailed design documentation
• Design, implement and optimize algorithms in C to enable precise and safe vehicle maneuvers during hands-free driving scenarios.
• Define and execute simulation tests and validate algorithm performance in a virtual environment using appropriate simulation tools.
• Collaborate with validation and testing teams to define test cases and ensure algorithm performance meets safety and functional requirements.
• High level of responsibility, engagement, and independent work style.

Your profile as Specialist:

• 5+ Years of experience in development of Algorithm & Functions for Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS)/ Autonomous driving (AD)
• Experience with C programming and understanding of coding standards
• Familiarity with automotive sensors such as cameras, radars and DMS, and their integration into algorithm development.
• Understanding of lane change maneuvers, vehicle dynamics, and kinematics.
• Scripting Knowledge - Python, MATLAB, Issue management and version control
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot algorithmic issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within a global project environment (R&D, Systems Engineering, Testing, Safety)
• Knowledge of ASPICE processes, Static analysis, MISRA checks etc.
