Job summary

Maersk in India is seeking an able Operations Associate to handle tender-related transactional activities, updates in MARS, and pricing for key clients. You will respond to inquiries promptly, flag issues, and collaborate with supervisors to improve processes.

You will engage with stakeholders, support audits, and help drive efficient case handling while maintaining high service standards in a global logistics environment.

• Performs transactional activities and updates service information, surcharges, line creation and pricing for Key clients in MARS like systems.
• Responds to enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Highlights issues and requests corrective action from supervisor.
• Communicates with stakeholders regarding process issues.
• Makes recommendations to improve processes and procedures.

Job description

Understands the customer tender, drafting requirements of Key clients and performs/updates the tasks/steps in the system as illustrated without any supervision. Key Responsibilities:

• Performs transactional activities/supports activities including service information updates, surcharge updates, line creation and pricing in MARS like to Key clients.
• Performs system processing as per defined guidelines/standard operating procedures.
• Responds to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Highlights issues, if any, and requests corrective action from supervisor.
• Communicates with stakeholders regarding process issues if required.
• Makes recommendations and suggestions on how to improve processes and procedures.
