Job summary

Nirmal Bhartia School in Delhi invites experienced Special Educators to join our SEN Department. We seek professionals who can impact students individually and the community, within an environment that values each person and fosters lifelong learning.

Candidates will develop and implement IEPs, provide one-on-one or small-group instruction, collaborate with teachers, and maintain progress records. Masters/B.Ed/Diploma with RCI certification and 5+ years of experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in special education / B.Ed in special education / Diploma in special education from a recognized institute.
• Must hold a valid RCI Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Special Educator.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs and create experiences to help them realise their potential.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate with class teachers to adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies for inclusive classrooms.
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records of assessments, goals, and achievements.
• Conduct regular parent meetings to discuss student progress and provide strategies for home support.
• Stay updated with current research, methodologies, and best practices in special education.
