Job description

We are hiring a compassionate and dedicated Special Educator to join our inclusive learning community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, supporting, and facilitating the learning needs of students with diverse educational requirements. The Special Educator will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leaders to create an inclusive classroom environment, implement individualized learning strategies, and promote the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of every learner.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (B.Ed. Special Education/B.Ed. with Special Education qualification) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
• Valid RCI Registration is mandatory.
• A Master’s Degree in Special Education or Psychology will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3years of relevant experience as a Special Educator in a reputed CBSE/ICSE/International School.
• Experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducting student assessments, and providing academic interventions.

Skills:

• Sound knowledge of inclusive education practices and learning disabilities.
• Ability to assess students’ learning needs and develop individualized support plans.
• Strong understanding of classroom accommodations, differentiated instruction, and behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and external professionals.
• Proficiency in maintaining student documentation, progress reports, and assessment records.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and educational tools that support diverse learning needs.
