Job summary

EDD United in Jaipur seeks a Space Designer (2D & 3D) to translate event concepts into spatial layouts and compelling visuals. You'll develop 2D plans, 3D renders, and PDF presentations for wedding and events concepts, collaborating with planning and décor teams.

You'll work with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Lumion/Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce designs and communicate ideas clearly. The role is on-site full-time, in the creative/design department, with emphasis on space planning

Job Description Space Designer (2D & 3D)

Location: Jaipur

Department: Creative / Design

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Space Designer (2D & 3D) who has a strong spatial understanding and interest in the wedding and events industry. The role involves supporting the design team in conceptualizing and visualizing event spaces through layouts, 3D visualizations, and structured presentations that align with experiential wedding themes and client concepts. The ideal candidate should be able to ideate design concepts, translate themes into spatial layouts, and present them clearly through visual presentations and PDFs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D layouts and space planning for wedding and event setups.
• Create 3D visualizations and renders for stage setups, dcor installations, and event environments.
• Assist in ideating design concepts based on event themes, references, and client briefs.
• Prepare structured PDF presentations that communicate design concepts, layouts, and visual ideas clearly.
• Work closely with the planning and dcor teams to translate concepts into spatial design outputs.
• Support execution on field / on-site, ensuring designs are implemented according to the planned layouts and visual concepts.
• Modify and refine designs based on feedback from the internal team or client discussions.
• Maintain organized design files, renders, and project folders.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of space planning, scale, proportions, and spatial visualization.
• Ability to translate ideas into 2D drawings and 3D visual concepts.
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail suited to experiential wedding environments.
• Ability to create clear visual presentations and communicate design ideas effectively.
• Should be a team player with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams during planning and execution.
• Software Proficiency

Candidates should be comfortable using the following design tools:

• SketchUp 3D modelling and spatial visualization
• AutoCAD 2D layouts and technical drawings
• Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray Rendering and visual outputs
• Adobe Photoshop Render enhancement and visual presentation
• Adobe Illustrator Layout elements and design detailing

Basic familiarity with Adobe InDesign for creating presentation PDFs will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing or recently completed Interior Design / Spatial Design / Architecture / Exhibition Design or related fields.
• Must have a detailed portfolio showcasing spatial design, 2D layouts, or 3D visual work.
