Velora Wellness Lounge invites a passionate Spa Therapist to deliver professional spa treatments while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and guest care. You will work with a founding team to create a premium wellness destination in Kolkata.

Responsibilities include consultations, tailoring services to guest needs, maintaining records, and supporting retail and membership initiatives. On-site role with rostered hours and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma, or Professional Certification in Spa Therapy, Beauty & Wellness, Ayurveda, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in premium spa, wellness centre, or luxury hotel spa.
• Hands-on experience in therapeutic massage and body treatments preferred.

• Deliver professional spa therapies in line with Velora SOPs.
• Conduct guest consultations and recommend suitable treatments.
• Ensure guest comfort, privacy, safety, and confidentiality throughout treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, linen, and products before and after services.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness within the spa.
• Promote retail products, wellness memberships, and gift vouchers when appropriate.
• Coordinate with Wellness Hospitality Team to ensure seamless guest experience.

Position Summary

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering professional therapeutic spa treatments while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, professionalism, and service excellence, and complying with Velora's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional spa therapies in accordance with Velora SOPs.
• Conduct guest consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and wellness services.
• Ensure guest comfort, privacy, safety, and confidentiality throughout the treatment journey.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, linen, and products before and after each service.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness within the spa.
• Ensure proper handling and care of spa equipment, products, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and communicate relevant guest information to the Lead Spa Therapist.
• Promote retail products, wellness memberships, gift vouchers, and signature spa experiences based on guest needs.
• Support inventory control by reporting stock shortages and minimizing product wastage.
• Maintain professional grooming, punctuality, and adherence to Velora's service standards.
• Participate in training programmes, team meetings, and continuous skill development.
• Coordinate effectively with the Wellness Hospitality Team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Lead Spa Therapist or Management.

Qualifications
