Job summary

Chain IQ is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant - Tactical Sourcer to lead end-to-end sourcing activities, engage suppliers, run RFx/eSourcing events, and drive cost optimization across categories. You will partner with stakeholders, draft contracts, and deliver measurable savings while ensuring policy compliance.

The ideal candidate brings 10-12+ years of strategic/tactical sourcing, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with Source-to-Contract platforms such as SAP Ariba, Ivalua, or

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience in strategic/tactical sourcing and procurement.
• Proven experience in RFx, eSourcing, spend analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with SAP Ariba, Ivalua, SAP or similar Source-to-Contract platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and English; German is a plus.

• Execute tactical sourcing projects across low, medium, and high complexity categories (Spot Buy, RFx, eSourcing).
• Manage procurement activities and act as the primary interface for business stakeholders and suppliers.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, bid analysis, and provide sourcing recommendations.
• Support contract drafting and negotiate commercial and contractual terms with vendors.
• Perform spend analysis, identify savings opportunities, and track savings delivery.
• Manage RFx and eAuction events using sourcing platforms.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to sourcing processes, KPIs, and SLAs; drive continuous improvement.

Senior Consultant - Tactical Sourcer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tactical Sourcer to manage end-to-end sourcing activities, support procurement initiatives, and drive cost optimization across categories. The role involves supplier engagement, RFx execution, contract negotiations, spend analysis, and stakeholder management while ensuring compliance with sourcing policies and processes.
