Job summary

V-Guard is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead procurement cost analysis, cost reduction, and strategic sourcing initiatives in Kerala, India. You will partner with R&D for new product development and collaborate with IT to automate sourcing/reporting processes.

The role requires 5–7 years in finance, costing, procurement or strategic sourcing, with hands-on SAP, Hyperion and Datasphere experience. Engineering degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance), CMA or CA qualification strongly preferred.
• Engineering degree is an added advantage.
• 5–7 years of experience in Finance, Costing, Procurement or Strategic Sourcing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, Datasphere, Hyperion and related reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies.
• Conduct replacement cost analysis for traded and manufactured goods in Hyperion and perform variance analysis.
• Support new product development with R&D team collaboration.
• Serve as finance business partner to Strategic Sourcing and support key initiatives.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and sourcing partner networks.
• Drive Vendor Portal implementation and continuous enhancement to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with IT to develop reports and automate sourcing and finance processes.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance for direct and indirect sourcing activities.

• Support new product development initiatives and collaborate closely with the R&D team.
  
• Act as a finance business partner to the Strategic Sourcing team and support key strategic initiatives.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sourcing partners.
  
• Drive the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Vendor Portal to meet evolving business requirements.
  
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop reports and automate sourcing and finance processes.
  
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements related to direct and indirect sourcing activities.
  

Preferred Educational Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CMA (formerly CWA) / CA.
  
• Engineering degree will be an added advantage.
  

Experience & Skills

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Finance, Costing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing.
  
• Hands-on experience with finance systems including SAP, Datasphere, Hyperion, and related reporting tools.
  
• Strong understanding of sourcing metrics, cost analytics, procurement finance, and cost optimization techniques.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  
• Ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
