Job summary

Snic Solutions in India is seeking a Solutions Consultant to bridge technology and business for manufacturing software deployments. You will design, implement, and deploy solutions across technical and functional domains to deliver efficiency, visibility, and agility in production environments.

This role involves working with Siemens Opcenter, Insights Hub, and Factory Thread, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting change management. Growth toward a Solution Architect role is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Technical or functional background in manufacturing software implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work across technical and functional roles.
• Hands-on experience with software implementation (dev, SI, BA, or consultant).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including planning, execution, scheduling, and quality.
• Agile implementation experience (Scrum, Kanban, or iterative deployment).
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Knowledge of ERP, MRP, QMS is advantageous.
• Interest in evolving into a Solution Architect role.

Your Role

As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and deploying manufacturing software solutions for our customers. You will work closely with manufacturing leaders, process owners, and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive efficiency, visibility, and agility in production environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the implementation of manufacturing software solutions, including Siemens Opcenter, Insights Hub, and Factory Thread.
• Work directly with manufacturing stakeholders to analyze business needs, identify challenges, and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Configure and integrate software to optimize production planning, scheduling, execution, and quality management.
• Wear multiple hats, contributing to both technical problem-solving and business process consulting depending on project needs.
• Facilitate an agile deployment approach, leveraging iterative releases, rapid feedback loops, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with development, integration, and business teams to ensure seamless system interoperability with ERP, MRP, QMS, and other manufacturing IT systems.
• Provide customer training and change management support to drive successful software adoption.
• Identify opportunities for new solution offerings, helping Snic Solutions expand into new revenue streams in manufacturing software.

What You Bring to the Table

• Technical or functional background in manufacturing software implementation, preferably in MOM/MES, IIoT, APS, or related domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to connect business challenges to technology solutions.
• A willingness to work across different roles, including both technical and functional responsibilities, to build end-to-end expertise.
• Hands-on experience with software implementation—either as a developer, system integrator, business analyst, or consultant.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, execution, scheduling, and quality control.
• Agile implementation experience, with exposure to methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or iterative software deployment.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills, comfortable interacting with business and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ERP, MRP, QMS, and related manufacturing IT systems is an advantage.
• Interest in evolving into a Solution Architect role, combining both technical expertise and business acumen to deliver high-impact projects.
