• Hands-on use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini to build practical AI use cases.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of supporting sales efforts and closing deals.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PreSales Solutions Consultant to join our PreSales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS solutions, a deep, hands‑on understanding of AI and its application in enterprise business processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a PreSales Solutions Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving our sales efforts by providing technical and AI expertise, demonstrating our AI‑powered solutions, and building strong relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that use AI, AI agents and automation to address their needs.
2. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value and capabilities of Zycus solutions, with a strong focus on Zycus’s AI capabilities, including Merlin AI agents and GenAI use cases.
3. Translate AI capabilities into clear business outcomes, ROI and productivity gains for business and C‑level audiences.
4. Confidently address client questions on AI accuracy, data privacy, security, governance and responsible AI.
5. Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including responses to RFPs, RFIs and technical inquiries, AI‑specific sections included.
6. Work closely with the product management and development teams to stay updated on the latest product features, enhancements and AI roadmap.
7. Stay current on developments in AI and GenAI and on competitors’ AI offerings, and build a working understanding of the procurement industry, market trends and the competitive landscape.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C‑level executives, procurement professionals and IT teams.
9. Assist in creating sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, whitepapers and AI use‑case demos.
10. Participate in industry events, conferences and webinars to promote Zycus solutions and generate leads.

Skills & Experience Required:

1. 2–8 years of experience in a PreSales or Solutions Consulting role, preferably within the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
2. Strong working knowledge of AI, including GenAI, LLMs, AI agents and agentic workflows, prompt engineering and RAG, and how they apply to enterprise business processes.
3. Hands‑on, regular use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini, with the ability to build and demonstrate practical AI use cases.
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and AI concepts to non‑technical audiences.
5. Proven track record of successfully supporting sales efforts and closing deals.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment.
7. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Good to Have:

1. Understanding of procurement processes and best practices, such as Source‑to‑Pay, Procure‑to‑Pay, Supply Chain or Finance.
2. Experience with procurement or ERP platforms such as Zycus, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, Jaggaer or Oracle.
3. AI certifications or coursework, such as AWS, Azure or Google AI certifications, or GenAI/ML courses.
4. Exposure to automation, low‑code tools, APIs or ERP integrations.
