Job summary

NexionPro Services is seeking a Solution Architect with deep expertise in Oracle Retail POS and Java to design scalable, reliable retail applications for a global commerce environment.

You will collaborate with Business, Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to translate requirements into robust architectures and integrations, guiding development and ensuring high availability across cloud-native microservices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Retail POS Suite
• 7+ years of hands-on Core Java (J2SE) and Advanced Java (J2EE)
• 4+ years of front-end development experience
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure, Container services, Serverless architecture, High availability
• 2+ years of CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior and senior engineers

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, reliable and high-performance retail applications for a global commerce environment
• Convert business requirements into technical/solution designs
• Define solution architecture and design integrations with backend systems
• Collaborate with Business, Product, Engineering and Delivery teams
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and mentor junior engineers

We are looking for a Solution Architect with strong experience in Oracle Retail POS, Java, system integration, cloud and microservices architecture.

The person will work with Business, Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to design scalable, reliable and high-performance retail applications, primarily for a global commerce environment.

The role involves understanding business requirements, defining solution architecture, designing integrations, supporting development, and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.

Mandatory Skills

1. Oracle Retail POS – Must Have

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Retail POS Suite
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Oracle Xstore
• Xadmin
• Xcenter
• XServices
• Experience with OpChain Framework
• Strong understanding of Retail/POS systems and integrations
• 4+ years of Solution/Application Architecture experience
• Strong end-to-end understanding of application architecture
• Experience designing scalable, reliable and resilient systems
• Strong experience in system integration and backend architecture
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical/solution designs

3. Java

• 7+ years of hands-on Core Java (J2SE) and Advanced Java (J2EE)
• Strong programming and integration concepts

4. Front-End

• 4+ years of front-end development experience

Any of:

• Node.js
• React.js
• Angular
• 3+ years of cloud architecture/design experience
• Experience with:
• Cloud infrastructure
