Job summary

Nokia in India is seeking an experienced Solution Owner, EDA, to oversee installation, maintenance, and compatibility testing of EDA tools across RF, ASIC, and FPGA flows. You will drive tool deployment, run sanity tests, and document processes.

You will collaborate with Infra teams, support end users, and stay current with evolving EDA technologies to ensure efficient tool usage and reliable design workflows in a Linux GRID environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supporting EDA environments globally.
• Proficiency in installing EDA tools in Linux environments, specifically RHEL8 or RHEL9.
• Familiarity with digital design flow for Digital IC design from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens.
• Working knowledge of digital EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Siemens.
• Experience with RF design tools from Ansys, Keysight, Dassault, and Modelithics.
• Understanding of FPGA design tools from AMD and Altera.
• Strong working knowledge of the Linux environment.
• Experience with EDA tools in GRID environments, such as LSF or Altair Accelerator.
• Scripting knowledge is a plus (e.g., shell scripting, Python, or Perl).

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains EDA tools across RF/ASIC/FPGA design.
• Runs regression tests and tool sanity checks.
• Tests compatibility of open-source tools in a Linux environment.
• Oversees tool installation process for RF EDA tools.
• Runs end-user sanity test cases for RF EDA tools from major vendors.
• Maintains service documentation and user guides.
• Collaborates with Infra teams to resolve issues.
• Debugs EDA tool issues in a Linux GRID environment using LSF or Altair Accelerator.
• Keeps up-to-date with advancements in EDA tools and technologies.
• Ensures smooth operations and efficient utilization of EDA resources.

The Solution Owner, EDA will play a crucial role in our FIT ITIS DO C&A BA HW Engineering department. They will be accountable for the installation, maintenance, and compatibility testing of EDA tools. This role requires expertise in managing EDA environments, tool installation, and working with various industry-leading tools and software. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective use of EDA tools, driving tool installation processes and running sanity test cases.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Accountable for EDA tool installation, maintenance, and compatibility testing and maintenance for RF, ASIC, Analog and FPGA design .
• Implement and maintain regression tools from Synopsys and Siemens.
• Conduct compatibility testing of open-source tools in a Linux environment.
• Drive and oversee the tool installation process for RF EDA tools.
• Run end-user sanity test cases for RF EDA tools from Ansys, Siemens, Dassault, and Keysight.
• Maintain service support documents and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Infra teams to resolve day-to-day issues and provide support.
• Debug EDA tool issues in a Linux GRID environment using Altair Accelerator, LSF, or SLURM.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in EDA tools and technologies.
• Ensure smooth operations and efficient utilization of EDA resources.

Key Skills And Experience
