Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking an Integration Engineer to handle system integration and verification of Ericsson CLOUD NFVI/CNIS solutions. The ideal candidate will develop proficiency in Ericsson products and participate in Proof of Concept projects across various emerging technologies, including 5G and IoT. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in IP Networking and intermediate proficiency in Unix/Linux. Strong communication skills in English are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IP Networking, preferably with CISCO, Juniper, Extreme, HP devices.
• Strong understanding of Cloud concepts and virtualization.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• System integration and verification of Ericsson CLOUD NFVI/ CNIS solutions.
• Develop proficiency in Ericsson NFVI/ CNIS products for deployment.
• Participate in PoC projects for emerging technologies like 5G, IoT, and Edge NFVI.

Skills

Understanding of Cloud concepts/ Virtualization

K8s skills

Job Description

• System Integration and Verification of Ericsson CLOUD NFVI/ CNIS solutions in Telco Core network.
• Develop proficiency in Ericsson NFVI/ CNIS products – ECCD, CCD, SDI, SDI3, CEE to be able to deploy for customer networks.
• Participate in PoC projects along with Cloud PDU in emerging areas like 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, Distributed Cloud, etc.
• Working as a member of Ericsson Integration and Verification team.

Mandatory Skills

• Understanding of Cloud concepts/ Virtualization.
• At least intermediate level proficiency in Unix/Linux.
• 3 At least 5 years of IP Networking (integration skills) experience on CISCO, Juniper, Extreme, HP switches.
• K8s skills are an added plus.
• Exposure to NFVI / CNIS domain and capable to quickly ramp-up to Ericsson NFVI/ CNIS products.
• Have experience of system installation, integration, and verification with good investigation and troubleshooting skills.
• Python/ Ansible/ Shell scripting skills are added plus.
• Good Inter-personal skills along with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Task oriented, self-driven & adaptable to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work as per project timezone is must.
