Job summary

Infobip India is seeking a Solution Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-level SaaS, chatbot, and CPaaS solutions. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to translate business needs into scalable technical implementations using APIs, AI tooling, and automation.

The role requires strong customer-facing skills, hands-on AI experience (Claude, Codex, ChatGPT), and proficiency with JavaScript, C++, .NET, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in solution engineering, technical consulting, or enterprise software implementation.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, Codex, ChatGPT) to build solutions and artifacts.
• Strong experience with chatbot tech, conversational AI, and CPaaS integrations.

As a Solution Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, demonstrating, and implementing enterprise-level SaaS, chatbot, conversational AI, and CPaaS solutions for clients. This is a highly client-facing role that combines strong communication and consultative skills with hands-on technical execution. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to understand business requirements, define the scope of work, conduct solution reviews, and deliver customized solutions using APIs, conversational AI, automation platforms, and emerging AI development tools. The ideal candidate is confident in customer interactions, able to convince and influence stakeholders, and comfortable using AI tools such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, and similar platforms to build solutions, prototypes, code, and reusable technical artifacts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement chatbot, conversational agent, and AI-powered solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their business challenges, explain technical concepts, present solutions, and build confidence in the proposed approach.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, solution reviews, feasibility analyses, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept discussions.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, implementation plans, and scopes of work.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, and similar AI platforms to accelerate solution design, implementation, coding, prototyping, and documentation.
• Create and maintain AI-generated or AI-assisted technical artifacts, including prototypes, workflows, reusable skills, integrations, code components, documentation, and solution accelerators.
• Integrate and configure CPaaS products, including: Email, Voice, WhatsApp, RCS, Marketing automation solutions, Conversational agent and chatbot platforms
• Utilize REST APIs, Call APIs, webhooks, and other integration capabilities to extend solution functionality.
• Work with JavaScript, C++, .NET, and related technologies to customize and integrate client solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to define client needs, solution scope, effort estimates, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to assess feasibility, resolve technical issues, and provide client feedback.
• Support solution implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
• Provide ongoing technical consulting and post-implementation support to ensure client satisfaction and optimal solution performance.
• Stay up to date with SaaS, conversational AI, generative AI, automation, and CPaaS trends, and apply relevant best practices.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, best-practice documentation, technical mentorship, and the development of reusable solution assets.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solution engineering, technical consulting, systems development, enterprise software implementation, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, including the ability to communicate confidently, present solutions, influence stakeholders, and handle client discussions independently.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to build solutions, prototypes, code, workflows, or other technical artifacts.
• Practical experience with chatbot technologies, conversational AI, generative AI, or conversational agent solutions.
• Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, C++, and .NET, along with the ability to understand and work across multiple technologies.
• Strong knowledge of API integrations, particularly REST APIs, Call APIs, webhooks, and third-party service integrations.
• Experience with SaaS products and enterprise-level implementations.
• Familiarity with CPaaS products such as Email, Voice, WhatsApp, RCS, and marketing automation platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
