Overview

The Senior Solution Consultant is responsible for positioning Infor’s solution in the high-value sales opportunities that drive digital transformation at the prospects and customers. You will act as a presales consultant ensuring the Solution Consulting teams and Sales teams are well equipped and enabled on all aspects to position and demonstrate the solutions. The Senior Solution Consultant will work closely with Infor’s Account Executives, Sales Management, Value Engineering team, ICS Consultants, and Channel Partner teams on sales strategy, deal qualification, solution demonstration, solution design, and preparation of proposals and responses to customers. The role is challenging and requires a dynamic, self-motivated, disciplined, ethical and results-oriented individual who can work unsupervised and on their own initiative. You will grow your current skill and experience and bring a passion for results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impactful value discoveries, informed by industry experience and customer research, executed with effective active listening and questioning.
• Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Demonstrate Infor solutions in a way that clearly differentiates us from the competition.
• Create and present Infor’s Industry Value POV and tangible solution benefits.
• Create product solution presentations of Infor solutions that reinforce Infor’s value proposition and drive business transformation with the prospective customer technology and market trends.
• Work with Professional Services on deal progression, expectations, statements of work, and transition post-sale.
• Maintain industry, market, and product knowledge, stay abreast of competitors’ products, technology and offerings, and track appropriate technology evolution.
• Provide product training as required to partner ecosystem.
• Maintain a working demonstration environment suitable for performing solution demonstrations.
• Follow presales rules of engagement and activity reporting as required.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 6 years of Enterprise ERP experience with specialization in Finance.
• Experience in Enterprise Software applications/solutions presales across multiple industries.
• Experience, good understanding and knowledge of Core Finance, Value Engineering, Office of CFO and Core ERP Operations.
• As a Solution Consultant, good leadership and mentoring skills are required to help contribute to account/opportunity strategies.
• Experience with Infor technologies is advantageous; experience with similar ERP solutions will also be considered.
• Knowledge of positioning and selling Cloud-based solutions.
• Proven experience of solution consulting; relevant product knowledge from an implementation or project perspective will be considered.
• Expert knowledge on end-to-end processes analysis and solution alignment.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
