Job summary

EPAM Systems in India is seeking an experienced Solution Architect/Senior Solution Architect with deep MEAN stack expertise to lead design and development of scalable applications on the cloud.

You will mentor teams, drive architectural decisions, engage directly with clients, and ensure agile delivery across front-end, microservices, and REST APIs. Candidates should have 12+ years' experience, degrees, and strong communication; proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years overall experience with 6+ years in front-end/microservices design.
• Proficiency in Angular and Node.js and MEAN stack.
• Experience with AWS cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda) and serverless.

• Design and develop front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Provide hands-on technology leadership across full-stack development initiatives.

In this role, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor technical teams, and collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional groups to deliver innovative full-stack solutions on the cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• Master's degree in Computer Science
• 12+ years of overall work experience
• 6+ years of experience designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
• Proficiency in Angular and Node.js
• Deep expertise in the MEAN stack
• Expertise in Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and additional AWS services such as Kinesis, Firehose, and CloudWatch
• Skills in container orchestration and serverless architectures using EKS and DynamoDB
• Background in TypeScript and Java development
• Knowledge of databases, including DynamoDB and DB2 (Legacy)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, and testing tools, including Cucumber and API Testing Tools
• Experience working in agile methodology
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to lead teams while dealing with ambiguity
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
• Nice to have Proficiency in PostgreSQL
