Job Description
Solution Architect
About TechnoSprout Systems Pvt. Ltd.

TechnoSprout Systems Pvt. Ltd. is a technology consulting and services company that partners with businesses to drive growth, operational efficiency and business transformation through technology. We work closely with founders and business leaders to design, implement and manage technology solutions that enable organisations to operate securely, efficiently and at scale. While our foundation is in cybersecurity and cloud, TechnoSprout has evolved into a comprehensive technology partner with capabilities spanning cybersecurity, cloud, digital workplace, IT infrastructure, automation, data, governance, technology operations and managed services.

Role Purpose

The Solution Architect will understand customers’ business and technology requirements and translate them into secure, practical and implementable technology solutions.

The role requires a holistic understanding of enterprise technology—including infrastructure, networks, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, applications, data, integration and technology operations. The person is not expected to be an implementation specialist in every area, but must understand how these components work together, identify dependencies and risks, and bring the right specialists into the solution.

The candidate’s primary technical depth should be in cybersecurity and IAM/PAM, supported by sound working knowledge of infrastructure, cloud and networking.

Experience Required
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, IAM/PAM, infrastructure, cloud or related areas.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in solution design, technical consulting, technical presales or a customer‑facing technology role.
  • Prior hands‑on experience in implementation, engineering or technical operations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in understanding customer requirements and converting them into practical technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Discovery and Assessment
  • Engage with customers to understand their business objectives, current technology environment, challenges and expected outcomes.
  • Assess the complete technology landscape rather than viewing an individual product or requirement in isolation.
  • Identify requirements, gaps, constraints, dependencies, assumptions and technical risks.
  • Document the current state, expected outcomes and agreed solution requirements.
  • Integrated Solution Design
  • Design integrated solutions across cybersecurity, IAM/PAM, infrastructure, cloud, networking, applications and data.
  • Define the overall architecture and explain how the different technology components will interact.
  • Prepare High‑Level Design documents, architecture diagrams and clear technical solution descriptions.
  • Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, supportable and appropriate to the customer’s needs and budget.
  • Identify integration requirements, prerequisites, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies and customer responsibilities.
  • Recommend fit‑for‑purpose solutions while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
  • Technical Coordination and Validation
  • Engage TSPL’s Network, Cloud, IAM/PAM, Cybersecurity and other relevant engineers for detailed domain inputs.
  • Recognise when OEM, partner, consultant or external specialist expertise is required.
  • Ask the right technical questions, evaluate specialist recommendations and resolve gaps between different inputs.
  • Validate that the proposed products, effort estimates, implementation approach and timelines are technically feasible.
  • Remain accountable for the coherence and completeness of the overall solution.
  • Technical Presales and Proposal Support
  • Support Sales and Key Account Management teams during customer discovery, site assessments and technical discussions.
  • Explain technical concepts and proposed solutions clearly to business, management and technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical sections of proposals, Statements of Work and customer responses.
  • Coordinate Bills of Material, licensing requirements, effort estimates and implementation timelines with the relevant teams.
  • Ensure that technical commitments are achievable and that risks and dependencies are documented before proposal finalisation.
  • Implementation Handover and Design Governance
  • Conduct structured solution handovers with Implementation and Operations teams.
  • Explain the approved architecture, design decisions, assumptions, dependencies, risks and customer commitments.
  • Provide design clarification during implementation and assess significant changes to the approved solution.
  • Participate in technical reviews and major project milestones where required.
  • Confirm that the implemented solution remains aligned with the approved architecture.
  • Documentation and Continuous Learning
  • Maintain standard discovery questionnaires, solution templates, architecture diagrams and reusable solution patterns.
  • Document important design decisions, assumptions, dependencies and risks.
  • Maintain working relationships with OEMs, distributors, technology partners and technical specialists.
  • Remain informed about relevant developments across infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, IAM/PAM, applications and data.
Critical Technical Knowledge
Holistic Enterprise Technology Understanding
The candidate must understand the purpose and interdependencies of the major components of an enterprise technology environment, including:
  • Servers, operating systems, storage, virtualisation, Active Directory/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, backup and disaster recovery
  • LAN, WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, secure remote access and load balancing
  • Public cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure or AWS architecture, connectivity, identity, security and monitoring fundamentals
  • Identity lifecycle, authentication, authorisation, least privilege, SSO, MFA and access governance
  • Cybersecurity controls across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, applications and data
  • Enterprise applications, SaaS and on‑premise hosting, databases, data flows, APIs and system integrations
  • Monitoring, logging, IT service management, incident and change management, technology risk and compliance

The Solution Architect should be able to identify how these components interact, recognise risks and dependencies, assess operational implications and determine when deeper specialist expertise is required.

Primary Technical Depth – Cybersecurity And IAM/PAM
  • Security-by-design, Zero Trust and defence-in-depth principles
  • Risk‑based selection and integration of network, endpoint, cloud, application and data‑security controls
  • Identity lifecycle, role‑based access control, SSO, federation, MFA and least privilege
  • Privileged account onboarding, vaulting, credential rotation, session management and service‑account management
  • IAM/PAM integration with Active Directory/Entra ID, cloud, servers, endpoints, networks and applications
  • Working experience with CyberArk or a comparable IAM/PAM platform
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related field.
  • Relevant cybersecurity, IAM/PAM, cloud, infrastructure or architecture certifications will be an advantage.
  • Practical solution-design and customer‑facing experience will carry greater weight than the number of certifications.
Key Performance Expectations
  • Completeness of customer discovery and accuracy of solution requirements
  • Quality, practicality and technical feasibility of proposed solutions
  • Accuracy of technical scope, assumptions, dependencies, Bills of Material and proposal inputs
  • Timely completion of solution documents and technical proposals
  • Effective coordination of specialists and successful handover to Implementation and Operations teams
