Lonza in Hyderabad, India, invites an IT professional to shape end-user computing and enterprise workplace strategy across a global life sciences organization. The role emphasizes collaboration, architecture, and secure, scalable solutions.

You will partner with IT Operations, IT Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver compliant workplace services worldwide, drive innovation, and ensure exceptional digital experiences for colleagues across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale end-user computing and workplace infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, workplace technologies, IT security, governance, and service management.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Experience working in complex global environments with multiple stakeholders.

• Define and evolve global end-user computing and workplace infrastructure architectures that align with strategies.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, run proofs-of-concept, and recommend workplace solutions.
• Lead design and governance of workplace technology standards across global locations.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, IT Security, Infrastructure, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure effectiveness.
• Oversee onsite Site IT Operations to ensure reliable service delivery and compliance.

This is an office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you will do

• Lead the design and governance of workplace technology standards across global locations.
• Collaborate closely with IT Operations, IT Security, Infrastructure teams, service providers, and business stakeholders to ensure solution effectiveness.
• Drive the resolution of complex technical issues and provide expert-level support for critical workplace services.
• Oversee onsite Site IT Operations to ensure reliable service delivery, operational continuity, compliance, and alignment with global standards.
  

What we are looking for

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale end-user computing and workplace infrastructure solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, workplace technologies, IT security, governance, and service management practices.
• Ability to assess business needs and translate them into practical and sustainable technology solutions.
• Experience working in complex global environments with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
