phData is hiring an Applied AI Solution Architect in Bengaluru to lead architecture and hands-on implementation of production-ready agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients across industries.

You will design agents that reason, retrieve, act, and integrate with core enterprise systems, while mentoring teammates and contributing to IP, accelerators, and playbooks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years total experience and 6+ years in AI/ML/Software/Data engineering with hands-on agentic experience.
• Proficiency with LLMs, agentic architectures, RAG, and prompt design.
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks.

Job description

Applied AI Solution Architect

We are hiring an Applied AI Solution Architect to join our Agentic Delivery Center (India). You will lead the architecture and hands-on implementation of production-ready agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients across industries designing agents that reason, retrieve, act, and integrate with core enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture, solution design, and delivery of agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients
• Design and build reusable agentic accelerators and reference architectures aligned with the phData Intelligence Platform
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear, production-grade agentic solution designs
• Architect agents with focus on reliability, scalability, security, observability, and evaluation/guardrail strategies
• Establish patterns, tooling, and ways of working for our India Agentic Delivery Center
• Collaborate with forward-deployed engineers, data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders
• Conduct code reviews, documentation, testing, and ensure governance and compliance standards
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping AI roadmaps and strategic decisions
• Mentor and coach team members; contribute to internal IP, accelerators, playbooks, and training

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of total experience and 6+ years as an AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Software Engineer, or Data Engineer with hands-on LLM/agentic application experience
• Strong understanding of LLMs, agentic architectures, RAG, prompt design, context engineering, and tool/function calling
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), multi-agent patterns, memory, planning, and protocols (e.g., MCP)
• Experience with evaluation, guardrail, and observability strategies for LLM/agent systems (LLMOps/AgentOps)?
• Proficiency in Python, including API development
• Deep expertise in cloud-native AI/ML platforms: AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI/ML, Snowflake Cortex
• Strong SQL skills — ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries
• Full SDLC experience: design, documentation, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
• Experience in a consulting / professional services environment, ideally on fixed-bid projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to present to both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building reusable accelerators or modular codebases deployed across multiple clients
• Domain expertise in life sciences, retail, financial services, or manufacturing
• Experience working with global/remote teams across US, LATAM, and India
• Open source contributions, technical writing, or speaking on AI/agents topics
• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
