Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager, Supply Chain Planning who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the technology solution that supports global supply chain operations—from demand planning and procurement through manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment with a focus on supply chain special programs under the supervision of the principal solution architect as well as overseeing the ‘Keep the Lights On’ (KTLO) operations across all planning functions and applications, ensuring seamless supported day‑to‑day supply chain activities. This role bridges business strategy with technical execution, ensuring scalable, integrated, and future‑ready solutions across existing legacy systems, future ERP, MES, WMS, TMS, and planning systems. The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US EST time zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Design – Lead architecture design for global supply chain solutions, including planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and order fulfillment under the supervision of the principal solution architect; develop target‑state solutions aligned with enterprise standards and digital transformation goals across legacy systems and future ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.), PLM, MES, WMS, TMS, and external partner systems; ensure solutions alignment with business processes and KPIs for supply chain efficiency, visibility, and sustainability.
- Solution Delivery & Governance – Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and design standards; provide technical leadership during project execution, including vendor selection and design reviews; maintain documentation of architecture artifacts and ensure compliance with security, data, and integration standards.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with business units (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service) to define functional requirements; work closely with enterprise architects, data architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure holistic solutions; liaise with external technology partners, system integrators, and SaaS providers.
- KTLO Operations Management – Oversee supported supply chain activities daily to ensure uninterrupted operations across all supported business units; maintain and optimize planning systems and processes to support consistent product availability and service levels; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives; identify and address IT issues as primary point of contact and optimize infrastructure, hardware, software and processes; engage in rigorous root cause analysis, problem solving and solution implementations; ensure system processes adhere to customer requirements; maintain and update systems and data – combination of legacy systems and Salesforce platforms; identify systems problems, present to leadership and implement changes.
- Leadership & Management – Lead planning and execution of special programs, including franchise expansions, portfolio adjustments, and new business trials; lead and manage a team of technical resources located offshore, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional development; coordinate with stakeholders to align program objectives with overall business goals and supply chain capabilities; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the planning team.
- Franchise & Portfolio Planning – Analyze and manage the supply chain aspects of franchise operations, ensuring alignment with market demands and strategic objectives; evaluate portfolio performance and implement planning adjustments to optimize product mix, inventory levels, and distribution strategies; lead and support any franchise and portfolio initiatives and relevant system enhancements that include planning systems.
- New Business Integration – Collaborate with business development teams to assess supply chain implications of new business opportunities; design and implement planning processes to support the successful launch and integration of new programs like AG International; monitor and report on the performance of new initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Project Deliverables – Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Resource Allocation – Allocate and manage technical resources to meet project and operation demands and optimize productivity.
- Quality Assurance – Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of technical delivery.
- Communication – Facilitate effective communication between offshore and onshore teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on project status, risks, and issues.
- Problem Solving – Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field. Or 10+ years in similar IT solution roles focusing on planning and supply chain operations in consumer product industries.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT solution architecture with at least 4 years focusing on supply‑chain planning systems and at least 3 years in a managerial role. Deep understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain process and applications is a must. Expert in application support including problem analysis and resolution. Strong analytical and critical thinking mindset. Expert relationship management and networking skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting to business stakeholders on a regular basis; can work independently under minimal supervision and be a good team player.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and project delivery methodologies; experience with Anaplan, Blue Yonder ESP/Fulfillment, ETL tools such as Informatica and Ascend; proficient in SQL, Excel, and JIRA. Nice to have experience with Google Cloud, Data Quality and Governance.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment and manage teams across different time zones. Must be able to multitask, adapt, prioritize and deliver assignments with the highest quality under pressure and short deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle SCM Cloud, BY ESP), Anaplan, OMS and WMS is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
