Nokia is seeking a Solution Architect for Oil & Gas and Transport/Railway to design and deliver integrated, mission-critical communication systems and lead multidisciplinary engineering from concept to handover. You will drive end-to-end design, lead multi-vendor system integration testing, develop V&V, FAT, SAT and T&C procedures, and manage technical relationships with customers and suppliers.

Requires Electronics or Telecom degree and 8+ years in Oil & Gas/Transport; fluent English; willing

Responsabilidades

• Design, validate, and deliver end-to-end integrated communications solutions that meet customer, operational, and contractual requirements.
• Lead system integration and interoperability testing across multi-vendor environments.
• Develop and execute Validation & Verification (V&V), FAT, SAT, and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures.
• Manage technical relationships with customers, subcontractors, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and execute complex system migrations, including configuration management, cutover activities, rollback strategies, and operational transition.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, design specifications, interface definitions, technical procedures, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices (IECEx, EMC/EMI, safety, cybersecurity) in Oil & Gas and FLNG environments.
• Manage system requirements, interfaces, and technical risks to ensure successful project execution and customer acceptance.
• Provide on-site leadership during integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover activities while maintaining strong customer relationships.

As a Solution Architect for the Oil & Gas and Transport/Railway, you will play a crucial role in designing integration, and delivery of complex, mission-critical communication systems for Oil & Gas and Railway projects. Your functional knowledge Proven ability to develop and tailor optimized end-to-end design, leading multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through installation, commissioning, testing, and operational handover, ensuring alignment with industry standards and operational best practices.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Manage technical relationships with customers, subcontractors, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and execute complex system migrations, including configuration management, cutover activities, rollback strategies, and operational transition.

Key Skills And Experience

Must have:

• A degree in Electronics or Telecoms 8+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas and Transport/Railway segments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering activities in international environments.
• Excellent technical documentation and reporting capabilities.
• Effective coordination of suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English communication; additional languages highly valued in multinational project environments.
• Willing and available to travel globally for site integration, testing, commissioning, and customer support activities.

Good to have:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to do Root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex technical issues and Third-party system integration.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Field equipment and subsystem testing.
