Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to deliver end‑to‑end Service Assurance solutions for global customers. You will lead architecture, requirements, system integration, and delivery while ensuring high‑quality outcomes.

You will drive secure, scalable, event‑driven architectures across IT, cloud, and virtualization, coordinating with multiple teams and customer O&M teams. Travel for national/international assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Telecom and/or IT systems design, implementation, integration, and operations.
• 5+ years in Solution, Integration, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS, and IT Service Assurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures and technical blueprints aligned with business needs.
• Gather and analyze customer requirements and develop solution proposals.
• Lead solution design, implementation, deployment, and customer acceptance activities.
• Define scalable, secure, reusable integration architectures across enterprise apps, OSS/BSS, IT infra, cloud, and virtualization.
• Establish integration standards, frameworks, and reusable components.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure security, governance, performance, and reliability.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans; manage MITO delivery projects within scope, quality, and timelines.
• Collaborate with customers, Solution Architects, MSIT & ADM, MA/CU, SDAP, Managed Services, and O&M teams.
• Provide technical leadership, stakeholder management, solution consulting, effort estimation, roadmap planning, and delivery governance.
• Drive automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement; mentor engineers and contribute to PoCs and interviews.

About this opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join the MITO Domain Adaptation stream. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end‑to‑end Service Assurance solutions for global customers, from pre‑sales through solution design, implementation, customer acceptance, and operational handover. You will lead solution architecture, requirement analysis, system integration, and technical delivery while ensuring high‑quality implementations aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices.

What you will do:

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures and technical blueprints aligned with business and customer needs.
• Gather and analyze customer requirements, perform feasibility assessments, and develop solution proposals.
• Lead solution design, implementation, deployment, and customer acceptance activities.
• Define scalable, secure, reusable, and event‑driven integration architectures across enterprise applications, OSS/BSS, IT infrastructure, cloud, and virtualized environments.
• Establish integration standards, frameworks, reusable components, and best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with security, governance, performance, and reliability standards.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage one or more MITO delivery projects, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, and timelines.
• Collaborate with customers, Solution Architects, MSIT & ADM, MA/CU organizations, SDAP, Managed Services delivery teams, and customer O&M teams.
• Provide technical leadership, stakeholder management, solution consulting, effort estimation, roadmap planning, and delivery governance.
• Drive automation, operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads and contribute to Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical interviews, training, and product evaluations.

The skills you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in Telecom and/or IT systems design, implementation, integration, and operations, including 5+ years in Solution, Integration, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Solution Architecture, System Design, Enterprise Integration, and IT Service Assurance solutions.
• Experience delivering OSS/BSS System Integration and Managed Services projects.
• Strong knowledge of Fault Management, Performance Management, Reporting, Monitoring, and Automation solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability platforms including SNMP, Zabbix, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, OpenTelemetry (OTEL), and Jasper Reports.
• Experience with integration technologies including REST APIs, Microservices, Event‑Driven Architecture, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (preferred).
• Strong understanding of Cloud platforms, IT infrastructure, virtualization, Linux, Windows, networking, inventory, and topology management.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Perl, JavaScript, XML, and database technologies.
• Strong customer‑facing communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation, and cross‑functional leadership capabilities.
• Passion for innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and delivering high‑quality customer solutions.
• ITIL certification/knowledge, AI/ML exposure, and willingness to travel for short‑term national and international assignments are considered an advantage.
