Job summary

A leading renewable energy company in Mumbai is seeking an individual to oversee finance functions, including managing reports, compliance, and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate should be skilled in P&L analysis, budgetary assessments, and ERP systems. This role requires expertise in ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in owning key areas within finance functions.
• Supervising and owning weekly & monthly closing of books.
• Presentation of Weekly & Monthly MIS Reports.
• P&L analysis reports by different verticals.
• Budgetary and Variance analysis for cost, sales, collection targets.
• Implementation of IFC and other statutory requisites.
• Supervise working capital & banking operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Manage and maintain financial information systems.
• Work extensively on ERP implementations.
• Support founders and finance head with ad hoc report requests.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Play an active role in owning key areas within finance functions (debtors, COGS & inventory,payables).
2. Supervising and owning weekly & monthly closing of books and liaising with cross functional teams for the same.
3. Presentation of Weekly & Monthly MIS Reports: Generate, update, and distribute financial reports and dashboards to provide insights into treasury and financial performance.
4. P&L analysis reports by different verticals (Key financial information Ratio and analysis to the top management for financial decision-making).
5. Budgetary and Variance analysis for cost, sales, collection target and GLs.
6. Implementation IFC and other applicable requisites under statutory laws.
7. Working capital & Banking operations: Supervise functions such as WC management, fund transfers, and maintaining banking relationships.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury and financial reporting.
9. Forecasting: Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes to support the company financial planning.
10. Systems Management: Manage and maintain financial information systems and tools used for reporting and analysis.
11. Work extensively on ERP implementations and improvements.
12. Support founders and finance head in collating ad hoc report requests for external stakeholders.
