Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Bengaluru, KA seeks a Solar PV Monitoring Specialist with 3+ years of experience in solar PV monitoring, renewable energy systems, or BMS operations. The role requires on-site work with PAN India plant monitoring, data logging and coordinating with EPC/O&M vendors.

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/ Renewable Energy, Mechanical, Science or Engineering is required. Location is Bengaluru on-site; 48-hour weekly schedule and active incident logging.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in solar PV monitoring, renewable energy systems, or BMS operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PAN India solar PV plants via BMS/SCADA: inverter health, data loggers, communication status and daily generation.
• Validate generation against energy meters.
• Flag underperformance, generation loss, string/inverter faults and soiling-related losses.
• Log alarms and faults, notify senior engineers, sites and vendors, and maintain alarm and incident registers.
• Assist L2 with daily, weekly and monthly reports: energy generation, inverter availability, PR, specific yield (kWh/kWp), CUF, communication status and equipment health.
• Coordinate with site technicians, BMS teams and Solar EPC/O&M vendors on PPM, cleaning cycles and breakdown closure.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover (T&C, punch-list closure, as-built documentation).
