As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - JP Wealth Management, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions to support the firm's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues, thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or resolve problems.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.
• Gain experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate frameworks.
• Build REST and SOAP web services using Java at internet scale.
• Gain experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Acquire experience with unit testing tools like JUnit and mock testing tools like Mockito.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, web services (REST/SOAP), concepts, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Core, MVC, Spring JDBC, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of UI frameworks like Angular V4 or ReactJS.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, PL/SQL, ORM (MyBatis/Hibernate), and basic Linux/UNIX skills.
• Proficiency with development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnit, Maven, BitBucket/GIT, and JIRA.
• Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle, and building messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with multiple database platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL) and skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Sonar, and experience with test automation (TDD/BDD).
