Job summary

Entri Jobs is seeking a detail‑oriented Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Kerala. The role centers on planning, executing, and documenting test activities to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

You will review requirements, create test plans and cases, perform manual testing, track defects, and validate fixes across functions and systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance (Freshers may also apply).
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, usability, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
• Collaborate with developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand project requirements.
• Ensure applications meet functional and quality standards before deployment.
• Maintain accurate test documentation, defect reports, and test execution reports.
• Participate in project planning, sprint meetings, and quality review sessions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Support post-deployment validation and issue verification.
