FC Global Services India LLP (First Citizens India) is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to join our Community Association Banking Technology team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on quality checks for mission-critical enterprise applications, spanning manual and automation testing across backend and UI, and API integrations.

You will craft test plans, execute tests, and coordinate with developers, product managers, and other QA members to ensure robust quality and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience testing Enterprise applications.
• Exposure to automation of backend/UI testing.
• Functional and API testing (REST & SOAP).
• Strong Java and optional Python skills.
• OOPS concepts preferred.
• Experience with Selenium and Postman.
• Version control with Git.
• Create test plans and strategies from requirements.

About the Team

The Community Association Banking Technology is a Specialized Business Line Focused on Supporting Property Management Companies, Homeowners Associations, Commercial Property Managers, and Apartment Complex Managers. Servicing 1350+ Property Management Companies, Over 40,000+ HOA’s , 250 HOA’s managed directly by FCB. The Community Association Banking Technology team is growing and seeking a Software Test Engineer II to join us.. Impact

Responsible for performing independent quality checks and developing methods of measuring the quality and performance of the functional testing processes, supporting payment origination applications and API integrate. Responsible for understanding the workload and ensuring proper coverage to complete assigned work across team. Coordinates testing and evaluation activities that identify issues, trends and gaps in existing programs. Provides and independent assessment of the programs, policies and procedures tested and provides feedback to management. Works with the testing lead to create the test plan and strategy, including defining testing scope and identifying test data needs. Updates testing metrics on a daily basis and provides results to the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead. May be responsible for leading defect or other testing meetings if the test lead is unavailable.

Key Deliverables

• Independent Testing & Validation - Writes test cases based on requirements and user stories provided and performs manual testing as needed.
• Creates testing plans and test cases and loads them into the appropriate tools.
• Participates in defect meetings and overall project plan routines to present analysis on current defects as well as re-tested defects.
• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles and interprets data.
• Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiency, and effectively communicates analysis output.
• Risk Management - Contributes to the mitigation of risk in the Information Technology organization by thoroughly testing and performing quality checks of existing programs, policies and procedures.
• Business Strategy - Assists in leading the Quality Assurance testing teams by creating test plans, developing the testing timelines and schedules, and coordinating workstreams across multiple teams.

Skills and Qualification

• 5-8 years of experience testing Enterprise applications.
• Must have exposure or knowledge of Automation of backends / UI / both.
• Detailed working knowledge in functional and API (REST & SOAP) testing.
• Strong knowledge of programming language Java (Preferred) & python (additional).
• Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts will be preferred.
• Exposure to test automation tools such as selenium, postman.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Create test plan & test strategy based on the product requirement.
• Jira x-ray, or any defect tracking tool.
• Collaborate with developers, product team and other QA team members to understand the product requirements.
• Identify, document & track bugs using issue tracking tools like Jira.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Run regression tests to verify bug fixes and ensure existing functionality is not affected.
• Have understanding in methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced development environment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins.
