Philips Iberica SAU is seeking a Software Technologist I to contribute to Python-based software development. You will participate in design, reviews, testing, and documentation while collaborating with DevOps for deployments and performance monitoring.
You will mentor junior engineers and help shape best practices across the team in a fast-paced lab environment.
Software Technologist I(Python , Linux, AWS)
The Software Development Engineer is responsible for executing comprehensive code reviews to uphold coding standards, pinpoint potential bugs, and advocate for best practices in software development, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and top-tier code quality. The role assists DevOps in software deployment, ensuring personal performance metrics are achieved, while also defining, monitoring, and meeting broader performance and quality benchmarks. The role identifies and rectifies software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and implementing effective fixes to bolster software reliability and performance. The role develops and maintains detailed technical documentation, encompassing system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and support. The role coaches new joiners and exerts influence within team - local lab/product.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology OR Vocational Education in Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience with engineering Education in areas such as Software Development, (Python) Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent.

Experience in AWS Environment
