Job summary

ReWise Analytics & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking a Software Support Engineer to work night shifts from the Baner office. The role is hands-on, focusing on troubleshooting and communicating resolutions to customers.

The position reports to the Associate VP of Application Development and is based in Pune, India. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, guiding issue resolution, and delivering fixes with high quality across SQL and .NET/C# applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant technical field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in .NET 3.5+ with C# is a MUST. ASP.NET MVC is a MUST.
• Strong SQL, T-SQL knowledge and SQL Server experience (2008+) is a MUST.
• Knowledge on Telerik MVC or Kendo UI would be added advantage.
• Knowledge with ASP.NET Web Forms, TFS, Entity Framework, SSRS, SAP Crystal reports, jQuery, AngularJS, SOAP, and REST API would be added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and communicate resolutions to customers.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot business-level problems; provide guidance to clients.
• Manage support work requests to deliver fixes or enhancements on time and with high quality.
• Design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications.

Software Support Engineer: Work from Office: Pune

The Software Support Engineer is a hands‑on role. This person is responsible to continuously communicate troubleshooting and resolution finding efforts to customers. This position requires working in the night shift from Pune, India office.

Office Location: Baner

Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Associate VP of Application Development and is based in Pune, India.

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in technologies like SQL, .NET, C#, .NET Core, MVC.
• Candidate should be willing to self‑learn using online tools and resources as required. Should be go‑getter and of positive attitude.
• Able to monitor performance and trouble shoot business‑level problems and provide guidance and advice on issues.
• This person is responsible to Continuously communicate troubleshooting and resolution finding efforts to customers.
• Participate in discussions to understand clients’ needs, requirements, and manage support work requests to result in the delivery of fixes or enhancements on time and with high‑quality.
• Provides operational support for many complex applications, database servers and databases.
• Also, Design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate in a team setting.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project and ensure the highest quality code.
• Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, code quality automation and support continuous integration process.
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
• Work on core database structures and designs

• Knowledge with ASP.NET Web Forms, TFS, Entity Framework, SSRS, SAP Crystal reports, jQuery, AngularJS, SOAP, and REST API would be added advantage.
