If you're ready to make an impact and help shape the future of work, we’d love to hear from you!**The Opportunity As a Software/Senior Software Engineer (C#) on the Workspace ONE Assist Product at Omnissa :*** Champion engineering initiatives and foster a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and excellence.* Participate in design reviews, code reviews, 5-whys, and RCCAs* Identify process or pipeline improvements to increase team efficiency* Participate in the on-call rotation* Handle customer-impacting escalations, prioritising engineering work effectively.**Required Qualifications:*** 5+ years of experience in software engineering, architecting, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems.* Strong expertise in C# and the modern .NET ecosystem (including .NET 10), with deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code practices, and software architecture.* Proven ability to design and develop modern, maintainable, secure, and high-performance applications, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.* Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and delivery efficiency.* Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and communication protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, gRPC, REST, and distributed application architectures.* Extensive experience developing backend services, microservices, APIs, and platform components using modern .NET technologies.* Experience working in Windows Server and Linux environments, with strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.* Proficiency with source control systems such as Git, including modern branching, code review, and collaboration workflows.* Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.* Strong knowledge of relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies, with experience in data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.* Front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React is desirable but not required.* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across global geographies, driving technical initiatives from design through production deployment.* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.**Location:** Chennai**Location Type: HYBRID.**This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days.
