Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise India Private Limited is seeking a Software QA Engineer at Specialist level to join the onsite team in India. The role emphasizes building and owning automated test strategies, leveraging Python and AI-enabled SDLC approaches while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The candidate should have a strong foundation in SDLC, QA methodologies, and experience with test automation, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in QA or related field.
• Storage Domain knowledge including File System concepts.
• Experience with AI-driven SDLC concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, developing test strategy, test planning, test execution and test automation.
• Hands-on AI based SDLC experience preferred.
• Own automation strategy and tools to enhance the test automation framework.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Collaborate across geographically distributed cross-functional teams.
• Use Jira, Confluence and related software.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, developing test strategy, test planning , test execution and test automation.
• Hands-on AI based SDLC is preferred
• Strong automation background to be able to own automation strategy and tools required to enhance a test automation framework.
• Proficiency in programming in Python .
• Strong System Engineering Knowledge
• Strong Knowledge of AI workflows and AI tools
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of tools and processes for functional, regression, scale testing.
• Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use Jira, Confluence, and related software
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and hands-on participation in Scrum
• Ability to collaborate effectively across a geographically distributed cross-functional team

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically 5+ years experience.
