Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and specifications to ensure testability and acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed manual and automated test plans and cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing; perform smoke/sanity checks.
• Identify, document, and track defects; prioritize by severity and impact.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts; build CI/CD test pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, product, and service teams to reproduce and isolate defects; drive quality improvements.

Position Overview:

To ensure that software applications and systems meet defined quality standards, business requirements, and user expectations by identifying defects, validating functionality, and improving overall product reliability before release.

QA Engineers help minimize production issues, enhance user experience, and support the delivery of stable, secure, and high-performing software through systematic testing and continuous quality improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing requirements and specifications

• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Identify ambiguities or missing acceptance criteria
• Ensure requirements are testable

Creating test plans and test cases

• Design detailed manual and automated test scenarios
• Define testing scope, strategy, and coverage

Executing tests

• Functional testing
• Regression testing
• Integration testing
• User acceptance testing (UAT)
• Smoke and sanity testing
• Verify software behaviour against expected results

Identifying and reporting bugs

• Document defects clearly with reproduction steps
• Prioritize issues based on severity and impact
• Track bugs through resolution using tools like:
• Github
• Jira

Automation testing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Build CI/CD test pipelines
• Use frameworks/tools such as:
• TestComplete
• Tosca

Collaboration with development teams

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and service

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and/or equivalent experience in the field of technology
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Experience working with scrum process and agile testing
• Good knowledge in QA process
